Alex Bassalay, Jr. Obituary (1961

Alex Bassalay Jr., 63, of Dover, died Saturday, April 6, 2024, at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. Following a private family committal service in the Chapel of Light, cremation arrangements were provided by the J. Herman Humphrey Dignity Cremation Center under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. The son of Alex, Sr. and Kate Kay (Kaplan) Bassalay, he was born February 21, 1961 in Levitown, New York. He was preceded in death by his father. Alex is survived by his mother, Kate Bassalay; two daugters, Alexis Bassalay of Phoenix, Arizona, and Ashley Moser (Matthew) of Nebraska; two sisters, Susan Kinsley of Seldon Long Island, New York, and Peggy Stevens (Jimmy, Jr.) of Dover; two brothers, Jeff Salzman (Linda), and Bruce Selzman, both of Virginia Beach, Virginia; and a grandson, Stacen.
