Alf Watts Obituary (1911

Alf Watts, 94, of Atkins, died Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. The son of Author and Lavada Turney Watts, he was born November 27, 1911 in Bear Creek, Arkansas. He attended the Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Edna (Taylor) Watts and wife Myrtle Reynolds; two great grandsons and one great granddaughter. Survivors include two sons, J.D. Watts of Hector, Ronnie Watts of Russellville; three daughters, Judie Sexton of Dover, Jean Burris of Atkins, Bonita Embry of Atkins; thirteen grandchildren, Linda Lucero of Hector, Diane Justice of North Carolina, Debra Copeland of Atkins, James Sexton of Dover, Bonita Ford of Atkins, Dennis Burris, Jr. of Virginia, John Burris of Russellville, Richard Burris of Atkins, Alishea Ensey of Atkins, Ginger Bradley of Russellville, Traci Watts of Russellville, Jordan Embry of Atkins, Jill Embry of Atkins; nineteen great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2:00PM Saturday, July 22, 2006 at Humphrey Chapel with Brother Hank Duvall officiating. Burial will be at Hudson Cemetery at Moreland under the direction Humphrey Funeral Service.
