Alice Green

Alice Marie Green, 86, of Russellville, AR, died Thursday, October 13, 2011 at Legacy Heights in Russellville, AR. The daughter of George and Grace Cummins, she was born February 17, 1925 in Lafe, Arkansas. She married L.C. Green, on January 3, 1941 at Cherry Valley, Arkansas. She was a member of the Oakland Heights Assembly of God of Russellville, AR. Alice was a very loving wife, mother, and grandma. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Brenda True; and a grandson Steven Green.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband L.C. Green of Russellville; four children, Jack Ralph Green of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, Ruth Buckman of Russellville, Willie Hawkins of Gentry, and Ricky Green of Pottsville; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and five great great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, October 17, 2011 at Humphrey Chapel in Russellville, AR. Reverend Floyd Ashpole will officiate. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 2 to 4:00 P.M., on Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the funeral home.
