Alice Ruth Roberts

Alice "Ruth" Roberts, 95, of Russellville left this life to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, October 12, 2015 at Stella Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Russellville. The daughter of John and Martha Mann Ewing, she was born May 18, 1920 in Center Valley, AR. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, "J.B." Roberts; her parents; three sisters, Mamie Staggs, Norma Jones, Helen Burroughs; six brothers, Roy Ewing, Dallas Ewing, Coy Ewing, Austin Ewing, Neal Ewing, J.D. Ewing.

Survivors include a son, Thomas W. Roberts, M.D. of Irving, TX;
two daughters, Margaret Mosley and the late John Mosley of Russellville, Jamie Hodges and husband Ernie of Russellville; four grandchildren, Kirt Mosley and Kevin Mosley of Russellville, Tamara Laws and husband Hugh of Russellville, Michael Hodges and wife Lele of Russellville; three great grandchildren, Harrison Laws of Fort Smith, Alix Ann Laws of Fayetteville, Elle James Hodges of Russellville; sister-in-law, Imogene Ewing of California; nieces, Martha Faulkner, Madaline Dunlap, Jo Ann Jackson , and other extended family and friends.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Hudson Cemetery in Moreland. Reverend Mike Norberg will officiate. Burial will follow under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, 320 North Greenwood Avenue, Fort Smith, AR 72901 or First Assembly of God, 124 East G. Street, Russellville, AR 72801.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the entire staff at Stella Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Russellville for the loving and compassionate care extended to their mom during her stay; and Dr. Dennis Berner with Millard Henry Clinic.
