Alvie A. Chisum, age 73, a resident of Hector, AR, died Thursday, September 13, 2001 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center at Russellville, AR. He was born on January 8, 1928 at Moore, AR, to William and Ora Frazier Chisum. He was a self employed logger and Farmer. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers Willie, O. B. and James Chisum. He was a member of the Falling Water Church. Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Helen and Dewayne Campbell of Dover; four sons and daughters in law, Leonard and Virginia Chisum of Dover, Troy and Kathy Chisum of Hector, Roy and Charlotte Chisum of Hector, Mike and Lesa Chisum of Dardanelle; 13 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a brother, Johnny Lee Chisum of Hector; three sisters and two brothers in law, Ollie Faye and Willie Freeman of Hector, Eunice and Don Pack of Hector, Alta Jewell Piearcy of Hector; numerous nieces, nephews and friends Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, September 15, 2001 at the Falling Water Church officiated by Rev. C. K. Bull and Rev. Lester Chisum. Burial will be at the Walnut Grove Cemetery at Hector, AR under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
