Amanda Sweat Lewis

Amanda "Mandi" Sweat Lewis, 34, of Russellville, died Thursday, January 16, 2014 at her home. The daughter of Loren and Kathy Sparks Sweat, she was born August 27, 1979 in Russellville. She was a 1997 graduate of Russellville High School and received her LPN certification through the University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton. She was a LPN with the Dardanelle Nursing Center. She attended First Free Will Baptist Church. Mandi enjoyed crocheting, cooking and spending time with friends and family. Her favorite pastimes included reading Science Fiction and singing but most of all spending time with her children. Her job was more than just an occupation; each patient was cared for as if they were part of her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Loren D. Sweat; grandparents, Argie and Pearl Sparks, Loy and Leta Sweat.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Kathy Sweat, Russellville, two children, Devin and Emily Lewis, Casa; a sister, Stephanie Williams and her husband, Tracy, Russellville; a special niece and nephew, Marissa and Brandon Williams; an uncle, Herman and wife, Carolyn Sparks, Russellville; and many relatives and treasured friends.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Monday, January 20, 2014 at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. Tony Sparks will officiate. Burial will be at Old Baptist Cemetery at Russellville by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, on Sunday, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Russellville Sr. Citizens Center, 1010 S Rochester Ave, Russellville, AR 72802.
