Anna Jane Fields

Anna Jane Page Fields, 89, of Russellville, passed away Thursday, September 3, 2026. The daughter of Bert L. Page Sr. and Audra E. McAlister Page, she was born December 31, 1936. Anna was a graduate of Russellville High School and Arkansas Tech University. She worked for the Pope County Circuit Clerk’s Office and had a lifelong interest in the history and people of her community.

Anna was a member of the Pope County Library Friends of the Library, the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Pope and Johnson County Historical Societies. She attended Grace Baptist Church.

She had a deep love for genealogy, reading, cross-stitching, and history, particularly the history of the local area. Anna especially enjoyed researching family histories and cemetery records, preserving information about the generations and communities that came before her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddy Fields, and her parents, Bert L Page Sr. and Audra E. McAlister Page.

The family will hold a private service at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
