Arvil L. Chancey, 82, of Russellville, AR, formerly of Ozark, died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at his home. The son of Lloyd and Gladys McKenzie Chancey, he was born December 20, 1927 in Cecil, AR. He was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. Arvil was of the Baptist faith and loved to fish. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Darlene Chancey.
Survivors include son, Edward Chancey, Russellville; three daughters, Susan Campbell, Russellville, Gaile Kendrick, Russellville, Karen Greer, Dardanelle; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; two brothers, Sherman Chancey, Ozark, L.D. Chancey, Pixley, CA; 3 sisters-in-law, Vera Bramlett, Bea Gossage, and Wanda Gossage all of Ozark.
Service arrangements will be announced at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
