B.S. Hyde Obituary (1923

B.S. Hyde, 83, of Russellville, formerly of Thyatira, Mississippi, died Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. The son of Joseph Basto and Eva Mae (Minor) Hyde, he was born May 6, 1923 in Thyatira, Mississippi. He was a United States Army Veteran of WWII. After leaving the Military, he returned to Thyatira where he was a farmer and worked for R.C. Cola Bottling Company in Senatobia, Mississippi. He was then transferred to Russellville where he eventually purchased R.C. Cola Bottling Company of Russellville. He later became a property and business owner of Sportsworld. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 10612 and a member of the Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers and three sisters. Survivors include his wife, Nancy Hyde of Russellville; one son, David Hyde & wife Mary Lou of Russellville; one daughter, Sue Finley & husband Dick of Hot Springs; two grandchildren, Kelly Foster & husband Stephen of Midway, Lindsay Hyde of Russellville; sister, Dorothy Stager of Santa Barbara, California; several nieces and nephews. Graveside Funeral service and burial will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 6, 2007 at Thyatira Cemetery in Thyatira, Mississippi, under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
