Beauford Ralph Price Obituary (1922

Beauford Ralph Price, 84, of Russellville, died Sunday, August 19, 2007 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. The son of Arthur and Bessie Hern Price, he was born September 17, 1922 in Driggs, AR. He was a United States Army Veteran of the European Theatre. He married Dollie Dunham on April 6, 1946 in Bradford, AR. He worked for the Missouri-Pacific railroad working his way up to the section foreman. They moved to California in 1959 where he worked for the Lloyd A. Fry Roofing manufacturer in Compton, California, until 1970. The family then moved to Chicago, IL, where he worked for Mt. Sinai Hospital as a Maintenance Engineer until his retirement in 1985. He then returned to Russellville. He was baptized into the Church of Christ at an early age. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dollie Dunham Price; his second wife, Rachel Parham Price; his parents; six brothers and one baby sister. He is survived by a son, Danny Price & wife Judy, Yucca Valley, California; a daughter, Judy Lawrence & husband Alan, Batesville; four grandchildren, Stephanie Price, Kathryn Scott, Kansas City, Missouri, David Lawrence, Metairie, Louisiana, Andrew Lawrence, Brownsburg, Indiana; two great grandsons, Carter Scott and Zachary Scott, Kansas City, Missouri; two brothers, Lewis Price, Russellville, Cecil Price, Elma, Washington; a sister, Parthena Price Smith, Apple Valley, California; a very special sister-in-law, Clara Ramey, Russell and several other nieces, nephews & relatives. Graveside funeral service and burial will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at Heard Cemetery at Bradford, Arkansas with Mr. Ralph Wallis officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Open visitation will be 5:00 - 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
