Bennie Ruth Tackett

Bennie Ruth Tackett, 87 of Hector passed away on Wednesday, April 28, 2011 at Hospice Home Care in Little Rock. She was born on March 4, 1924 to Bervie C. and Stella Rowlands Hurley. She was the widow of the late James W. Cotton Tackett and was also preceded by a granddaughter, Mollie Blair; her parents, 2 sisters, Bettye Cochran and Billie Coffman; a son, James Robert Butch Tackett.
She is survived by 2 sons, Jerry W. Tackett and wife Marjorie of Little Rock and Richard A. Tackett of Hector; 2 daughters, Linda Hedden and husband Vanas of Grapevine and Peggy Patton and husband Jerry of Wooster; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be at 9:00AM Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Walnut Grove Cemetery at Hector under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
