Betty Jane Ellis

Betty Jane Ellis, 71, of Dover, AR, died Friday, June 6, 2003 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, AR. The daughter of the late James and Agnes Opal (Talley) Taylor, she was born May 22, 1932 in Dover, AR. She married Kenneth Ray Ellis, on July 25, 1947 at Russellville, Arkansas. She was a Homemaker. She was a member of the Hatley Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Ray Ellis, of Dover; one son, Steven Ray Ellis of Dover; one daughter, Charlotte Gail Teeter of Dover; six grandchildren, Jennifer (and Jason) Howard of Pottsville, Brittany Ellis of Dover, David Teeter of Dardanelle, Bradley Teeter of Russellville, Kenneth Ellis II of Dover, Brian Ellis of Russellville; six great grandchildren, Hannah Howard of Pottsville, Luke Howard of Pottsville, Jacob Howard of Pottsville, Jonathan Teeter of Dardanelle, Nathaniel Teeter of Dardanelle, Cody Teeter of Atkins; three brothers, David (and Karlene) Taylor of Conway, James P. Taylor of Cabot, Robert Taylor of Los Angeles; one sister, Joyce L. Steiner of Dover; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral will be at 10:00 AM Monday, June 9, 2003 at Hatley Missionary Baptist Church. Bro. Lester Barnes and Bro. Ken Partain will officiate. Interment will follow at Pisgah Cemetery at Pottsville, AR under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be 7:00-8:30 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
