Betty S Scribner

Betty Scribner, 70, of Fort Smith, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at her home. The daughter of Marshall and Ellen Rickett Scribner, she was born June 17, 1952, in Joplin, MO. Betty will be remembered as a loving sister, aunt, and friend. She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed playing games, tending her animals, and watching wrestling. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, James David Scribner, and Donnie Scribner.

Survivors include three sisters, Mary Jenkins of Fort Smith; Letha Edgar (Nathan) of Paragould; Joyce Collins of Dardanelle; one brother, Wayne Scribner of Fort Smith; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends including a special cousin, Bonita Mueller and a close friend, Denise Shaddon.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Tuesday, January 3, 2023, at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. Chip Howington will officiate. Burial will be at North New Hope in Dover by Humphrey Funeral Service.
