Bill Bowers

Bill Bowers, 84, of Dover, AR, went home to be with the Lord and his mother Monday, September 12, 2016. The son of Hollie and Daisy Kilburn Bowers, he was born October 29, 1931, in the Hatley Community. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Bill loved animals and special to him was his dog named Buck. He also loved working in the garden with his mother.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters, Kay Maloney, Dortha Duvall, Frankie Lee Bowers, Ortha Loveless, Theora Birge, Lois Hughes.

Survivors include a sister, Sybil Bowden of Dover and a host of admiring nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the funeral service begins at 1:00 PM Thursday, September 15, 2016, in the Chapel of Humphrey Funeral Service.
