Bobby E. Arthur

Bobby E. Arthur, 78, of Russellville, formerly of Hector, died Wednesday, January 30, 2013. The son of Joe and Nona Whitworth Arthur, he was born February 9, 1934 in Hector. He was a United States Air Force Veteran of Korea and also served in Southeast Asia and worked as a military policeman. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and a Master Mason as a member of the Freemasons, Hector Lodge. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, playing music (guitar & fiddle), traveling and spending time with family, especially grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Geneva Arthur; his parents; two brothers, Clarence Arthur and Tulon Arthur; sister, Jean King; and three infant siblings.

Survivors include five sons, Hank W. Arthur ( Jan), Columbus, OH, Bobby W. Arthur, Maryville, TN, Ken Arthur (Tina), Richmond, TX, Eugene Gott (Connie), Spiro, OK, Randy Gott (Donna), Marble Falls, TX; daughter, Annell Gott (Richard Hogue), Russellville; 14 grandchildren, Christopher Arthur, Patrick Arthur, Timothy Arthur, Sarah Joan Jones, Ryan Rhoten (Megan), Tiffany Rhoten, Kenneth Arthur, Jr., Scott Arthur (Cameron), Joshua Arthur, Kasey Rackley, Coy Taylor (Jimmie), Justin Hogue, Sabina Gott, Nikki Heimke (Karl); 15 great grandchildren; two brothers, John Arthur , Surprise, AZ, Tommy Arthur (Blanche), Jacksonville, sisters, Zula Mae Haliburton (Les), DeWitt, and Carolyn Cox (Floyd Earl), DeWitt; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Humphrey Chapel in Russellville. Reverend Ira Taylor will officiate. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Hector by Humphrey Funeral Service. Full military honors will be provided by VFW Post 2283. Visitation will be from 6 to 8:00PM, on Friday, and 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home.
