Buddy Kendrick Obituary (1954 - 2013) - Russellville, Arkansas

Buddy Kendrick, 59, a resident of Pottsville, died Tuesday, August 27, 2013, at his home. He was born January 5, 1954, in Russellville to Bonnie Turney Wade. He married Kelli Lynn Ray, on May 21, 1999, at Russellville. He was the owner/operator of Buddy's Muffler Shop in Russellville for 24 years. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 3928 and a charter member of the Eagle Riders. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, camping, spending time with his family, friends and his dogs, Harley & Buster. He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Bonnie and Harold Wade and his maternal grandparents, E. B. and Minnie Turney. Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Kelli Kendrick of Pottsville; a daughter and son-in-law, Tammie and Billy Gibson of Pottsville; a step-son and step-daughter-in-law, Skylar and Melissa Creel of College Station, Texas; two grandchildren, Laken and Hunter Gray of Pottsville; three step-grandchildren, Andrea Harris of Russellville, L CPL Matthew Gibson of Washington, DC and Phillip Gibson of Hector; a great-grandchild, Cannon Harris of Russellville; his mother-in-law, Freda Ray of Stigler, Oklahoma; a niece, Pam Elmore and her husband, Darren, of Huntington; a nephew, Randy Dollar and his wife, Becky, of Roland, Oklahoma; and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces. The funeral will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, August 31, 2013, at the Humphrey Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Patton officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Cemetery at Pottsville by Humphrey Funeral Service. Active pallbearers will be Glen Dale, Sonny Sumers, Dennis Roper, Bobby Looper, Jim Freeman and Jim Ketchum. Honorary pallbearers will be Frank Glasgow, Cleve Sanders, the members of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles 3928 and the members of the Eagle Riders.
