Mr. C.W. Apple Obituary (1934 - 2018) - Russellville, Arkansas

C.W. Apple, 84, of Dover, died Saturday, October 13, 2018 at his son's home in Russellville. The son of William and Dulcie Leona Hoppis Apple, he was born March 14, 1934 in Carden Bottoms. He received his Associate's Degree from Arkansas Tech University. He married Mamie Evonne McAnally Apple, on August 17, 1961 in Russellville. He was a United States Navy Veteran of Korea. C.W. was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle where he was an Usher. He enjoyed farming, raising cattle and chickens and reading Louis L'Amour books. He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Oliana White; three brothers, Ray Apple, Ora Apple, Virgil Apple; a sister Fay Demmitt. C.W. is survived by his wife, Mamie Apple; five sons, Tom White (Rebel) of Glenn Heights, TX; Wilburn Apple (Dawn)of White Oak, TX; Henry Apple (Sally) of Centerton; Randy Apple (Sandy) of Dover; Michael Apple (Monica)of Russellville; daughter, Gloria Snyder of Dover, 28 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and a great great-grandchild. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Humphrey Chapel. Wilburn Apple will officiate. Burial will be at McFadden Cemetery in Dover by Humphrey Funeral Service.
