It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Caleb Montgomery Raney, who left us on July 27, 2025. Born on July 13, 2007, in Clarksville, AR, Caleb was a light in the lives of those around him, his spirit as captivating as his love for life. A loyal and reliable friend, a loving son and brother, and a talented drummer, he brought joy and warmth to every room he entered.
Caleb was a pillar of love and support for his family, always there for the people he loved most. He is survived by his parents, Monica and David Raney; his sisters, Faith Lindsey(Billy) and Clara Raney; his grandparents, Gladys Webb and Montie Raney; and many adoring aunts, uncles, and cousins, and other family members. His departure leaves an unfillable void in their lives, but his memory will continue to inspire and comfort them.
Caleb lived his impactful life with unyielding passion. His love for alternative rock music, especially the Foo Fighters, was infectious, anyone who knew him, knew what was on his radio. He developed an intense affinity for Formula One Racing, always sitting down to watch with friends and family while proudly sporting his McLaren orange. A hard worker, Caleb was employed at Old South in Russellville, where his reliability, friendliness, and dedication were highly valued. He graduated high school in late May, and was set to pursue a career of service, first in the Army National Guard and then as a mechanical engineering student at Arkansas Tech University. His goals were a testament to his ambition and commitment to making a difference in the world.
Caleb's life was a melody of love, loyalty, talent, and care. His song may have ended too soon, but the music lingers on. We invite you to share your memories and upload photos of Caleb on the memorial page. May we celebrate his life together, remembering the joy he brought into our lives, and the legacy he leaves behind.
