Carl Luke Thomas, Sr., 56, of Russellville, died Wednesday, March 11, 2020, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center following a long and heroic battle with cancer. A son of Ervin Sr. and Viney Raven Thomas, he was born July 19, 1963, in Baton Rouge, LA. He married Theresa (Rowe) Thomas, at Omaha, NE. He was a Building Contractor with Bowden Specialties of Russellville. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mechanic work, and was always enjoyed by family and friends as a funny and goofy guy.\n\nHe was preceded in death by his father; three brothers, twins Ronald & Donald Thomas, and Daryl Thomas. He is survived by his wife, Theresa; his mother, Viney Howard of Russellville; seven sons: Carl Thomas, Jr. (Marsha), Johnny Thomas (Brandy); James Thomas, Paul Thomas (Shondrica) Anthony Thomas (Cassi), & David Thomas (Lizbeth), all of Russellville; and, Ben Thomas (Sharnae) of Fayetteville; two brothers, Jerry Thomas (Patricia) of Russellville, and Ervin Jr.Thomas; a sister, Joyce Joyner (James) of Shreveport, LA; seventeen grandchildren, and many other nephews & nieces.\n\nCremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. A family visitation & viewing will be 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Tuesday, March 17, 2020, in the funeral home chapel.
