Carmon Hudson Gilliland Obituary (1940 - 2020)

Carmon Hudson Gilliland, 80, of Dover, died Friday, July 24, 2020, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center. A son of Ewell and Elnora (Priebe) Gilliland, he was born March 22, 1940, in Dover. He married Liddie Marie (Coble) Gilliland, on August 5, 1988, in Morrilton. Carmon was a retired truck driver with Tyson. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church at Augsburg, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, family gatherings and gardening, especially teaching his grandchildren how to garden. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother and three sisters. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Liddie; two daughters, Cynthia Absher (Joe) of Little Rock; and Sandra Brooks (Dennis) of Smithville, AR; three sons, Bucky Lowrance (Maryanna), Shannon Gilliland & Bryant Gilliland, all of Dover; 18 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nephews & nieces.
