Carolyn Ann (Duffield) Kendrick 81, of Pottsville, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 28, 2024, at Conway Regional Hospital. Funeral services are Thursday, February 1, 2024, 2:00 PM, in the chapel at Humphrey Funeral Service with Rev. Randy Caldwell officiating. Visitation is one hour prior to the service and burial is at Rest Haven Memorial Park under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.\n\nCarolyn was born on November 30, 1942, in Russellville to Luke B. Duffield, Jr., and Mary Katherine (Ford) Duffield. Carolyn graduated from Pottsville High School in 1960. Carolyn and Dale began elementary school together and knew one another for 75 years and were married for 62 years. \n\nCarolyn and her husband owned and operated D&M Muffler and Russellville Driving Range for 32 years. She was a loving mother to many and very dedicated to her family. She had the biggest heart for her family and was always wanting to help others.\n\nShe is proceeded in death by her parents; her sons Ronald Kendrick, Roger Kendrick, and Keith Kendrick; and a grandson, Ronald “JR” Kendrick; two brothers, Billy Duffield and Ernestine, and Ronnie Duffield of Russellville; and a sister, Margaret Duffield Taylor and Glen of Pottsville.\n\nCarolyn is survived by her husband, Dale Kendrick of Pottsville; daughter Kathy Whittington and husband Barry of Pottsville; sister, Linda Duffield of Amelia Island Florida; brother-in-law, Norman Kendrick and Dorothy of Kansas City; sister-in-law, Susan Duffield of Russellville; grandchildren, Tyler Kendrick and Emerson of Russellville, Ashtin Pennington and husband Nathan of Russellville, and Jake Kendrick of Pottsville; and numerous nieces and nephews.\n\nCarolyn’s internet obituary and online guestbook are at www.humphreyfuneral.com.
