Carroll J. Hottinger Obituary (1948 - 2013)

Carroll "Buddy" Jeffrey Hottinger, 64, of Dover, AR, passed away Saturday, February 16, 2013, surrounded by his family, at Arkansas River Valley Hospice Home Russellville. The son of Garland and Allie Skelton Hottinger, he was born February 28, 1948 in Dover. He married Fran Schneider on August 22, 1970 in Azusa, CA. He was a United States Army Veteran of VietNam and auto mechanic. He enjoyed stockcar racing and raising cattle. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Larry Hottinger. Survivors include his loving wife of 42 years, Fran Hottinger, Dover; three children, Shelley (Daniel) Hughes, Dover, Tanya (Clint) Chisim, Jerusalem, Laura Hottinger & John VanRiper, Russellville; six grandchildren, Jessica Beverage, Russellville, Heather Hughes, Dover, Daniel Chisim, Jerusalem, William Chisim, Jerusalem, Addison VanRiper, Russellville and Ellena VanRiper, Russellville; two great grandchildren, Brendan Osbourn, Russellville and Roselina Adams, Jerusalem ; six sisters, Martha (Jerry) Morris, Dover, Judy (Danny) Kennedy, Hector, Carol Hetzel, Dover, Patsy Pedroza, Dover, Sharon (Frank) Padron, CA and Becky (Bill) Farley, Dover; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial service will be held at 4PM, Thursday, February 21, 2013 at Humphrey Chapel. Reverend Mickey Shields will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
