Charlanne Weber Reaves Obituary (1939

Charlanne Weber Reaves, 63, of Russellville, formerly of Magnolia, Arkansas, died Friday, June 20, 2003 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville as the result of injuries sustained in a car accident in Russellville. The daughter of Dr. Charles L. and Annette Henderson Weber, she was born September 9, 1939 in El Dorado, Arkansas. She was a 1957 graduate of Magnolia High School and graduated from Baylor University in 1960 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. Charlanne taught 2nd grade in Magnolia for 11 years at East Side Elementary. She married Roy Reaves on May 4, 1985 in Magnolia. Roy and Charlanne moved to Russellville in 1987 where she taught 2nd and then 1st grade for 15 years at Sequoyah Elementary. She was a member and officer in the PEO Sisterhood, chapter CC. Charlanne was a member of the Arkansas Education Association and the National Education Association and was recently honored with a lifetime membership of the Sequoyah PTA. She was a member of the West Side Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her father, two brothers, Michael Lynn Weber and Dr. Charles H. Weber and a daughter Lynnea Reaves Roberts. Survivors include her husband, Roy A. Reaves, of Russellville; her children, Ben C. Montgomery and wife Lisa of Winchester, Virginia, Cindy Harrell and Talmage of Magnolia, Laura Francis and Matthew of Maumelle, Leah and Todd Hart of Little Rock, Roy Allan Reaves, Jr. and Angie of Benton; grandchildren, Jennifer Lynch and husband Jeremy of Winchester, Virginia, Megan and Benjamin Montgomery of Winchester, Virginia, Hunter and Logan Harrell of Magnolia, Hannah and Alex Hart of Little Rock, Jon Francis of Maumelle; her mother, Annette Weber of Russellville; a brother, Dr. Pat Weber and wife Mary Katherine of Texarkana, Texas. Funeral will be at 10 A.M. Monday, June 23, 2003 at West Side Church of Christ. Mr. Glenn Pace and Mr. Bruce Grice will officiate. A graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Magnolia at 4:00 p.m. by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
