It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles Malcolm Davis, also known as Chuck, on June 10th, 2023. Born on May 13th, 1942, in Newhope, Arkansas, Charles was a spirited, courageous, and resilient man who lived life to the fullest and loved deeply. He was a skilled diesel mechanic, dedicating 30 years of his life to his profession. Charles was a man of faith, attending church regularly and living by the verse, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me" (Philippians 4:13).
Charles was a man of many passions, including fishing, hunting, and dancing. He was an active member of the community, serving as Quartermaster for Post 3141 Dardanelle VFW. Charles's love for life was evident in every aspect of his journey, from his time spent living in Greenbrier, Newhope, and Dardanelle, Arkansas.
Charles is survived by his son, Dr. Anthony (Athena) Davis; grandson, Barrett Davis; great-nephews, Lawson and Reid Ozment. He was preceded in death by his father, Malcolm Davis; mother, Bertha Davis; and spouse, Nancy Davis. We invite you to leave your memories and upload photos to Charles's memorial page. May we all find comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on in the hearts of those he loved and touched.
The family would like to thank Arkansas Hospice and the staff of Stonebridge Assisted Living for their care and support.
