Charles B. Fite, 62, of Russellville, passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. The son of Claude Fite and Patricia Blais, he was born April 28, 1957 in Malvern. He was a United State Navy veteran serving from 1976 to 1982 where he received his nuclear power training. He was stationed on the U.S.S. Texas. He married Jennifer McDowell on June 11, 1983 at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Dardanelle.\n\nHe worked for ANO / Entergy for over 30 years. He held various positions ranging from Operator to Head of Corrective Actions and Assessment to Work-Week Manager. He was a member of St. John's Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and working on small engines and cars. He was one-of-a-kind with a natural zest for life.\n\nHe was preceded in death by his Father, Claude Fite.\n\nSurvivors include his wife of 36 years, Jennifer Fite of Russellville; two daughters, Monica Oliver (Casey) of Fort Smith and Stephanie Fite (Wes McLellan) of North Little Rock; son, John Fite (Lauren) of San Antonio; five grandchildren Lucas, Clara Grace, Lily, Rhett, & Mason; mother, Patsy Blais (Ferd) of Malvern; sister, Debbie King (Ed) of Hot Springs; two brothers, Scott Fite (Lila) of Malvern and Brian Fite (Holly) of Malvern; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins\n\nVisitation will be held from 6-7pm, Thursday March 5, 2020 at St. John's Catholic Church in Russellville. Rosary will begin at 7pm following the visitation.\n\nFuneral Service will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, March 6, 2020 at St. John's Catholic Church. Father Mauricio Carrasco, Father Jack Sidler, and Deacon Richard Papini will officiate. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Full military honors will be provided.
