Charles W. Schembra

Charles W. Schembra, 78, of Hector, AR , formerly of Dover, died Wednesday, May 14, 2003 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, AR. The son of Charles and Lizzie Belle (Watson) Schembra, he was born June 30, 1924 in Keiser, AR. He married Lola Barbara (Asher) Schembra, on September 29, 1945 at Lepanto, Arkansas. He was an Industrial Welder. He was a member of Attended Gospel Lighthouse in Dover. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons, Daniel Wincel Schembra, and Charles Juan Schembra; one brother, Daniel Wincel Schembra; three sisters, Sarah Hunter, Laura Hunter, and Mary Blaylock; and three grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Lola Schembral of Hector; seven sons, Earl Schembra of Dover, Henry Schembra of Dover, Lawrence Schembra of Pottsville, Nicky (and Debra) Schembra of Hector, Webb (and Debbie) Schembra of Arkins, Loyd (and Anna) Schembra of Dover, Phillip (and April) Schembra of Dover; two daughters, Ellen (and Paul) Poyner of Russellville, Patricia (and Dennis) Huffman of Scottsville; one sister, Vicee Jackson of Pottsville; 22 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 17, 2003 at the Gospel Lighthouse in Dover, Arkansas, officiated by Rev. Bob Freeman. Interment will be at Owens Cemetery at Dover, Arkansas under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
