Charles Standridge

Charles Standridge, 81, of Hector, AR, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at St. Mary's Regional Med Ctr in Russellville, AR. The son of Tom and Gertie Becky Freeman Standridge, he was born January 3, 1934 in Solo, AR. He married Lorene Standridge, on June 7, 1986 at Lake Tahoe, CA. He was a Truck Driver for many years. Charles was a member of the Falling Water Church. He enjoyed going to church and spending time with his family. Charles was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Charles David and Dale Monroe Standridge; two sisters, Juanita Standridge and LaVonna Jones; great grandson, Kendall Waterman.

Survivors include his wife of 28 years Lorene Standridge of the home; 5 sons, Dennis Lee Standridge (Donna) of Escalon, CA, Alan Ray Standridge of Dover, Phil Waterman (Kathy)of Russellville, Eddie Waterman (Evelyn) of Conway, Ronald Waterman (Lucy) of Lodi, CA; daughter, Cecelia M. Wygant of Kalispell, MT; 17 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; 1 brother, Ira Standridge (Louise)of Brooksville, FL; 2 sisters, Sylvia Goates of Scottsville, Anna Jane Gunter of Dover.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, January 31, 2015 at Falling Water Church. Brother Leonard Bob Chisum and Brother Roy Smith Jr. will officiate. Burial will be at North New Hope Cemetery in Dover, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm on Friday, at the funeral home.
