Christine (Dison) Hurst Essinger Obituary (1922

Christine Hurst Essinger, 96, of Cleburne, TX, died Friday, November 23, 2018. The daughter of Ed and Myrtle Dison, she was born November 23, 1922 in AL. She was a lifetime member of the Dardanelle Church of Christ and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Archie Hurst; a second husband, Jack Essinger; her parents; two sons, Carl Baker and Kenneth Hurst Sr; a daughter, Virginia Reynolds; and a step-son, Marvin Essinger. Survivors include six daughters, Annie Cagle, Betty Reynolds, Kathy Lane and husband Floyd, all of Dardanelle, Debbie Dunn and husband Leotis Sr of West Memphis, Teresia Spangler and husband Scott of MS and Linnie Yeakley and husband Johnny of Cleburne, TX; two sons, Archie Hurst Jr and wife Bobbie of Dardanelle and Arley Hurst Sr and wife Shirley of Russellville; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and extended family. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
