Danny Ray Ash, 65, of Russellville, died Tuesday, March 24, 2020, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock. A son of Willis and Joy (Pruden) Ash, he was born July 7, 1954, in Batesville, AR. He married his hometown sweetheart, Catherine Eliza (Heuer) Ash, on February 26, 1977, at Batesville. Prior to retirement, he was a Project Controls & Outage Scheduler with Entergy Arkansas Nuclear One.\n\nDanny was a devout Christian and faithful member of the Dover First Baptist Church. He was a beloved and patient husband, father, and grandfather. Danny was an extremely hardworking provider that was dedicated to the nuclear industry, and a man who truly loved life and enjoyed his family and friends to the fullest. He was an avid fisherman, gunsman, hunter, electrician, mechanic, and carpenter.\n\nA loving family and a large group of friends and former co-workers celebrate his life and memory. They include his wife of 43 years, Catherine Ash; their five daughters, Autumn Danielle Hodges (Matthew), Mary Katherine Pangrazio (Bob), Samantha Elizabeth Ann Ash, Madelyn Grace Ash, and Eliza Jean Ash; three grandchildren, Asher Hodges, Victoria Hodges and Lessie Pangrazio; two brothers, Johnny Ash and Roy Ash; a sister, Sherry Seeley (Noel); his parents, Willis and Joy Ash; and many other nephews and nieces.\n\nPrivate graveside services will be at Oaklawn Cemetery in Batesville, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service.
