David G. Long

David G. "Doc" Long, 67, of Dover, AR, lost his battle with cancer Thursday, December 9, 2010 at his home in Dover, AR. The son of Cecil and Sue Glover, he was born April 9, 1943 in Conway, Ar. He was married to Paulette Long for 21 loving years. David was a long haul truck driver for over forty years. He was a member of the Woodlawn Free Will Baptist Church. Doc also enjoyed working with horses. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Cecil Glover Jr.

He is survived by his wife Paulette Long of Dover, six sons, four Daughters, three sisters, and one brother

Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 13, 2010 at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. Charles Johnson will officiate. Burial will be at Owens Cemetery in Dover, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service.
