Mr. David W. Smith

David W. Smith, 64, of Russellville, died Thursday, April 13, 2017, at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center.

He was born June 22, 1952, at Little Rock. He laid tile for several years and was a former employee of Dana Corp. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer Wheat and Genevieve Burnett Smith and a brother, Charles Smith.

Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Shirley Smith of Russellville; his children, Brittany Rios, Joseph Pearson and Carrie Lee, all of Russellville and Eric Pearson of Van Buren; six grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are private and under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery at Atkins near his parents.
