Don W. Geier

Don W. Geier SR, 78, of Russellville, AR, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2014
in Russellville, AR. The son of Fred and Jessie Odell Geier, he was born December 27, 1935 in Pittsburg, KS. Don loved and enjoyed taking care of his family, putting up Christmas lights, taking care of his yard, and woodworking. Don's last adventure was working at PDQ for the past 2 years where he greeted everyone with a warm welcoming smile and a kind word. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church of Russellville.

He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Maxine Geier; second wife, Laura Geier; son, Don Geier, JR; grandson, Jeremy Lewallen; two sisters, Rosmary and Carolyn

Survivors include wife, Wanda Brueckmann of Russellville; one son, Randy Geier of Girard, KS; two daughters, Christie Pitts of Dardanelle, Linda Geier of Fort Smith; 10 grandchildren, Christy Dawn Johnson, Heather Horton, Michelle Burke, Trey Geier, Michael Bruhn, April Bruhn, Ryna Faulkner, David Gaston, Alex Edens and Alicia Olmstead; 13 great grandchildren; one sister, Sharon Herlocker of Farlington, KS; one brother, Fred Geier of Girard, KS.

Funeral Service will be held at 1:00PM, Saturday, September 27, 2014 at Humphrey Chapel. Freddy Goates will officiate. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Friday, at the funeral home.
