Dorothy Ann (Baker) Hitzke Obituary (1938 - 2022)

Dorothy Ann Hitzke, 84, of London, passed away, Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. The daughter of William and Mildred Caroline Aires Baker, she was born August 2, 1938, in Chicago, IL. She worked as a Secretary with Sports World Bowling until her retirement. She was a member of the London Extension Homemakers. Dorothy enjoyed yard work and reading. She was a member of the Augsburg Zion Lutheran Church where she had taught Sunday School and served in the Altar Guild. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert William Otto Hitzke; her parents and her sister Carol P. Haase. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Carrie Green (Timothy), London; granddaughter, Jennifer Chronister (Scotty), London; a great grandson, Ayden Chronister, London; step granddaughter, Elissa Tucker (Kevin), Fayetteville; step grandson, Sam Green, Centerton; three step great granddaughters, Saylor Green, Fort Smith; Ella Tucker, Springdale and Charlotte Tucker, Springdale; step great grandson, Oliver Tucker, Springdale; a sister, Delores Wells, Oswego, IL; brother, William Baker (Donna), IL a God son, Scott Roth, London and a brother-in-law, Ray Roth of London. Funeral Service will be held at 10:00AM, Monday, September 12, 2022, at Zion Lutheran Church. Pastor Joshua Ralston will officiate. Burial will be at Augsburg Cemetery by Humphrey Funeral Service.
