Eldie Lee 'Big Maverick' Yarber, age 66, a resident of Hector, AR, died Friday, July 28, 2000 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center at Russellville, AR. He was born on February 6, 1934 at Pope Co., AR, to Liston and Oklie Pack Yarber. He married Norma Ledford Yarber on May 25, 1955. He was a poultry & cattle farmer. He was preceded in death by his parents,1 grandson, James Lee Wilson. He was a Navy Veteran. He attended the Newton Springs Full Gospel Church at Hector. Survivors include his wife, Norma Ledford Yarber of Hector; a son and daughter in law, Nick and Ranee Yarber of Hector; daughters and son in law, Wannetta Wilson of Hector, Jeannette and Tony Anderson of Hector; five grandchildren, Wendy Wilson of Hector, Travis and Terra Anderson of Hector, Clint and Casey Yarber of Hector; two brothers, J.W. Yarber and Clevon Yarber of Hector; five sisters, Imogene Reed of Atkins, Regina Pack of Hector, Chris McNinch of Hector, Wanda Campbell of Hector, Carolyn Sue Wade of Pottsville; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M Monday, July 31, 2000 at the Hector Assembly of God Church, officiated by Rev. Bob Branch. Burial will be at the Rock Springs Cemetery at Hector, AR under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 2-4 P.M. Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.
