Eleanor Ruth (Porter) Brooks Obituary (1938 - 2020)

Eleanor Ruth Brooks, 82, of Hot Springs Village, formally of Pottsville, went home to be with her Lord, Sunday, November 15, 2020. She was born January 19, 1938, in Pottsville to Walter and Ruth Ann May Porter. Eleanor received her Bachelor's Degree where she worked as a Hospital Administrator. While living in Hot Springs Village, she was very active in The Village United Methodist Church. She was also a member of The Pottsville United Methodist and The United Methodist Church of Richmond, MO. Eleanor enjoyed reading and listening to classical music. Eleanor is survived by her husband, Glenn Brooks; two sons Gregory & Kim Brooks of Aarhus, Denmark and Thomas & Jennifer Brooks of Hot Springs Village. Five grandchildren Benjamin Osborn, Isabella Brooks, Gracelynn Brooks, Elanora Brooks, Thomas A Brooks and Gregory J Brooks. Eleanor is preceded in death by her parents and three three sisters: Vivian Wylie, Mary Oullette, and Patricia Keener. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
