Emenefee Lyle Hunt Obituary (1941 - 2011)

Emenefee L. Hunt, Jr. 69, of Russellville, AR, died Tuesday, September 27, 2011 at Conway Regional Medical in Conway, AR. The son of Emenefee and Juanita Coats Hunt Sr, he was born December 12, 1941 in Nashville, TN. He was a retired United States Army Captain, Veteran of the Vietnam War, a Purple Heart Recipient and a member of Military Officers Association of America. E.L. was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Russellville. He went on mission trips and served at church in various roles. He enjoyed collecting model trains, wood working, rock hounding, and walking. He was preceded in death by his parents. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Juanita Hunt of Russellville; 3 sons, Emenefee Hunt III of Kalamazoo, MI, Douglass Baker & wife Elke of Port Richey, FL, Kenneth Baker & wife Yong Hui of Abilene, TX; 3 daughters, Paula Bragg of Russellville, Pamela Beheshti of Russellville, Patricia Hunt of Kansas City, MO; 10 grandchildren, Shawna Huffman & husband Roy of Russellville, Shelly Brown & husband Troy of Russellville, Cyrus Beheshti of Midlothian, VA, Crystal, Justin, David Baker of Abilene, TX, Sabrina Baker of Port Richey, FL, Emilee, Alyssia, & Brittany Hunt of Kalamazoo, MI, 8 great grandchildren, Jenna, Willis, Piper Ann, & Maddox Brown, Kaelyn & Rylee Huffman, Linora Baker & Tristan Baker; 7 siblings, Robert Hunt & wife Ann of Gallatin, TN, Albert Hunt & wife Shannon of Nashville, TN, Lucille Thompson of Hermitage, TN, Peggy Behne of Columbus, TX; Linda Drollinger & husband Omer of Duck River, TN, Jerry Hunt & wife Brenda of Goodlettsville, TN, Juanita Toombs & husband Mike of Columbia, TN; and many loved nieces and nephews. Funeral will be 2:00PM, Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Humphrey Chapel. Burial will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park in Russellville, AR by Humphrey Funeral Service. Full military honors will be provided by Rogers Rye VFW post #2283. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, on Saturday, at the funeral home.
