Ethel (Turney) Newell Obituary (1908

Ethel (Turney) Newell, 98, of Russellville, died Monday, January 22, 2007 at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville. The daughter of G.B. and Minnie Williams Turney, she was born November 23, 1908 in Searcy County, AR. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Newell; her parents; a son, Ralph Newell; several brothers and sisters and her sister-in-law and best friend, Lucy Turney. She is survived by a son, Raymond Newell of Atkins; a daughter, Audrey Taylor of Sandpoint, Idaho; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie Wade of Russellville; several nieces and nephews and her caregiver, Jean Laymon of Russellville. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, January 25, 2007 at Calvary Temple Assembly of God Church with Bro. Devoe Campbell officiating. Burial will be at Old Baptist Cemetery at Center Valley by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
