Ette Pelham Ragsdale Obituary (1918

Ette Pelham Ragsdale, age 81, a resident of Russellville, died Thursday, January 20, 2000 at her home. She was born on February 14, 1918 at Fort Douglas, Arkansas, to Johnny and Roxie (Collins) Pelham. She was the widow of the late James Willard Ragsdale. Mrs. Ragsdale was also preceded in death by a son, James Leonard Ragsdale; five brothers and sisters, Taff Pelham, Bertha Millsaps, Bessie Basinger, Nettie Millsaps and Effie Gunter. She was a member of the Parker Hill Holiness Church. Survivors include four sons, George and Juanita Ragsdale of Dover, Lowell and Fran Ragsdale of Conway, Johnny Ragsdale of Dover, Vernon and Rose Ragsdale of Stockton; four daughters, Joyce and Dean Williams of Dover, Betty and David Walters of Dover, Eudola and David Pepper of Dover, Gwenna and James Brandon of Russellville; 20 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Monday, January 24, 2000 at the Humphrey Chapel officiated by Rev. David Harrison and Rev. Bill Tucker and Rev. Ken McCutcheon. Burial will be at Owens Cemetery at Dover under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 2-4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
