Frank Richard (Straight) Straight

Frank Richard Straight, 88, passed away on August 4, 2022, surrounded by his family at his home in Russellville, AR. He was born on April 29, 1934, in Witts Springs, AR, to Charlie "Jack" Straight and Pearl (Sitton) Straight. Frank joined the United States Navy in 1953, after graduating high school, where he honorably served his country. After returning to Springdale, he worked for Tyson Foods until his retirement. He was a member of CrossLife Church in Russellville.

Frank married Jo Ann Foster on February 9, 1957 in Pleasant Hills, CA. The couple had 4 children, Dan (Susan) Straight, of Russellville, Jane (Ross) Burton, of Jonesboro, Suzanne (Stan) Gately, of Russellville, Rebecca (Wade) Wilson of Russellville.

Frank is survived by JoAnn (Foster) Straight - wife of Russellville;

Dan (Susan) Straight - son, of Russellville, Jessica (Scott) Pearson - granddaughter, of Augsburg, Caitlin (Dusty) Conner - granddaughter, of Russellville, Emily Straight - granddaughter, of Russellville;

Jane (Ross) Burton - daughter, of Jonesboro, Lisa (Jason) Stinnett - granddaughter, of Jonesboro, Anna Beth (Matt) Presley - granddaughter, of Jonesboro;

Suzanne (Stan) Gately - daughter, of Russellville, Zach Moss - grandson, of Denver, CO, Charles (Alicia) Gately - grandson, of Marshall, NC, Hunter (Leighton) Gately - grandson, of Roanoke, VA, Stephanie Gately - granddaughter, of Louisville, KY;

Rebecca (Wade) Wilson - daughter, of Russellville, Lindsey (Adam) Gortney - granddaughter, of Conway; 14 great-grandchildren; siblings, Grace Neil - sister, of Springdale, Betty Howard - sister, of Maumelle, Jack (Linda) Straight - brother, of Tulsa, OK, Doris Perry - sister, of Highfill.

Frank is preceded in death by Charlie "Jack" Straight - father, Pearl (Sitton) Straight - mother, John Wesley Moss - grandson, and James Robert Moss - son-in-law.

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Humphrey Chapel in Russellville where Pastor Bobby Biggers and Pastor Drew Cox will officiate. Burial will be held following the service at Center Valley Memorial Gardens by Humphrey Funeral Service where Minister Hunter Gately and Pastor Ross Burton will officiate.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022, from 6PM to 7:30PM at Humphrey Chapel.

Pallbearers are Dusty Conner, Adam Gortney, Austin Gortney, Scott Pearson, Matt Presley, and Jason Stinnett.

Honorary Pallbearers are Terry Bolin, Charles Gately, Hunter Gately, and Zach Moss.
