Freddy W. Mears, 40, of Dover, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at his home. The son of Frederick and Norma Lynn Taylor Mears, he was born October 27, 1980, in Clarksville. He married Nichola Hill, on October 18, 2007, at Scottsville and was a Laser Technician with Omega Guns. He enjoyed hunting, racing, guns, motorcycles and spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathren Mears; his stepfather, Will Roberds; grandfather, F.W. Mears; grandmother, Pauline Seward and grandfather, Wayne Stroud.\n\nFreddy is survived by his wife, Nikki Mears of Dover; three sons, Allyn Mears of Dover; PFC Zackary Hill of Fort Hood, TX; Corbin Hill of Dover; two daughters, Chloe Hill of Russellville; Kara Lilly Hill of Dover; two stepchildren, Alexa Meeks and Desaray Comer both of Atkins; six grandchildren; his parents; grandmother, Mary Stroud of Dover; several aunts, uncles and cousins.\n\nCremation arrangements are under the direction of Herman Humphrey Dignity Cremation Center and Humphrey Funeral Service.
