Gerald Lee Bruhn

Gerald Lee Bruhn, 70, of Russellville, formerly of Staunton, Illinois, died Wednesday, August 9, 2007 at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. The son of Edwin and Anna (Stipcak) Bruhn, he was born October 30, 1936 in Staunton, llinois. He married Lorraine J. Frey, on June 17, 1955 in Indiana. He was a railroad worker in Illinois. After moving to Russellville, he managed a peach orchard on Crow Mountain and later retired from the Sanitation Department at Tyson Foods. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Connie Bruhn Swaim; an infant son; three brothers, Harry Bruhn, Robert Bruhn and Donald Bruhn.
Survivors include, his wife of 52 years, Lorraine Bruhn of Russellville; two sons, Dennis Bruhn & wife Teresa of Russellville, Randy Bruhn & wife Stacey of Pottsville; two daughters, Kandice Walker & husband Tom of Van Buren, Nancy McGuire & husband Greg of Russellville; a brother, Wayne Bruhn of Staunton, Illinois; two sisters, Betty Stroebehn of Gillespie, Illinois, Donna Booth of Benld, Illinois; twelve grandchildren, Jeremy Lawhorn of Flagstaff, Arizona, Michael Bruhn of Dardanelle, Tonya Fowler of Russellville, Jeffrey Lawhorn of Van Buren, April Williams of Russellville, Jason Cunningham of Conway, Michelle Vaughn of Knoxville, Jenny Stanley of Pottsville, Tammy Rye of Atkins, Brittany Swaim of Russellville, Chase Bruhn of Pottsville, Miranda Bruhn of Pottsville; five great grandchildren, Brandon Bruhn of Russellville, Lexie Vaughn of Russellville, Landon Stanley of Pottsville, Mystic Trent of Knoxville, Kegean Fowler of Russellville.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Saturday, August 11, 2007 at Humphrey Chapel with the Rev. David Downum officiating. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery in Pottsville by Humphrey Funeral Service.
Visitation will be 5:30 -8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
