Gladys L. Morris

Gladys L. Morris, age 88, a resident of Russellville, AR, died Wednesday, April 5, 2000 at St. Marys Regional Medical Center at Russellville, AR. She was born on February 17, 1912 at Green City, MO, to Albert and Lura (Waggoner) Shriver. Mrs. Morris was a Homemaker, a member of the First United Methodist Church of Russellville. For 60 years Mrs. Morris was member of the First Christian Church of Cushing, Oklahoma, where she was active in CWF and a member of the choir. Mrs. Morris was the first resident of the Wildflower Retirement Inn. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cliff Morris
Survivors incude a daughter and son in law, Donna and Ron Reynolds of Russellville; one granddaughter, Renee Turk of Russellville; one grandson and wife, Robert and Dana Reynolds of Rogers; one great grandson, Joe David Turk of Russellville; three sisters and a brother in law, Wilma Riddle of Kirksville, Eunice Bennett of Kirksville, Dorothy and Marion Musgrave of Sioux Falls; one sister in law, Maxine Riley of Green City; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Monday, April 10, 2000 at the Humphrey Chapel officiated by Rev. Mackey Yokem. Arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Russellville or the Wesley Foundation at ATU or the First Christian Church of Cushing, Oklahoma. Burial will be at the Euchee Valley Cemetery at Cushing, Oklahoma.
