Scott Hays, 55, of Russellville, passed away Saturday, October 29, 2017 at his home in Russellville. A son of Glen and Peggy Ashmore Hays, he was born June 18, 1962 in Plainfield, NJ. He was a Graduate of Russellville High School. He was a former fireman with Russellville Fire Department. Scott's accomplishments included being a loving father, grandfather and hardworking. Scott attended Appleton Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed hunting arrowheads, loved being outdoors and spending time with family. He was preceded in death by his dad, Glen D. Hays.\n\nScott is survived by his mother, Peggy Lawrence (Duane) of Russellville;\ntwo sons, Brandon Hays (Lupe) of Dardanelle and Joshua Hays (Ashley) of Russellville; daughter, Sarah Hegeman (Spencer) of Russellville; seven grandchildren, Adelyn Hegeman, Preston Hull, Alexander Hays, Zackary Hays Brayden Hays, Kash Hegeman, Peyton Hays; two Brothers, Allen Hays of Globe, AZ and Richard Hays of Hattiesburg, MS; and other relatives and friends.\n\nFuneral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. Chad Duvall will officiate. Burial will be at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Hector by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
