Hayes Bridges

Hayes Bridges, age 89, a resident of Plainview, AR, died Thursday, June 15, 2000 at his home. He was born on October 4, 1910 at Plainview, AR, to Matthew and Eva (Stahl) Bridges. He married Imogene Leach on May 3, 1941 at Plainview, Arkansas. Mr. Bridges was a Farmer. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Plainview.He was a 32nd. Degree Mason, a 35 year committeeman with the Farm Services Agency at Danville, and a member of the Ola Eastern Star. Mr. Bridges was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Imogene Bridges of Plainview; two sons and daughters in law, Bill and Debra Bridges of Ft. Smith, Bob and Ann Bridges of Wayne; two daughters and sons in law, Virginia and Dale Zank of Marshall, Judy and Charles Chastain of Little Rock; one brother, T.L. Bridges of Little Rock; seven grandchildren, Cindy Kugel, Missy Kugel, Matthew Bridges, Sara Chastain, Amy Bridges, Heather Bridges, Chris Bridges.

Funeral service will be 10 A.M. Monday, June 19, 2000 at the First United Methodist Church of Plainview officiated by Rev. John Zolk. Burial with Masonic Rites will be at the New Bethel Cemetery at Plainview, AR under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m.Sunday at the Humphrey/Ola Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Plainview United Methodist Church or to the Department of Health Hospice, 203 Weir Road, Russellville, Arkansas.
