Helen Johnson

Helen Johnson, age 82, a resident of Ola, AR, died Thursday, April 26, 2001 at Mitchells Nursing Home at Danville, AR. She was born on June 8, 1918 at Birta, AR, to William and Josie (Ellison) Jones. Mrs. Johnson was a Homemaker and an active member of the Birta Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted Johnson.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter in law, George Johnson of Little Rock, Ted and Verna Johnson of Birta; three daughters and sons in law, Linda and Garry McElderry of Greeley, Judy and Ronnie Taylor of Noxon, Betty Johnson of Ola; 8 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2 P.M. Monday, April 30, 2001 at the Birta Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Birta Cemetery by Humphrey Funeral Service. The family will receive friends from 4-6 P.M. Sunday at the Humphrey Funeral Home in Ola.
