Ima Rea Shinn Obituary (1924

Ima Rea Shinn, 84, of Atkins, Arkansas, died Thursday, November 19, 2009 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center in Russellville, AR. The daughter of Roy and Orpha Lynch Tucker, she was born December 9, 1924 in Pottsville, AR. She was a member of the Eastern Star and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard Shinn; one son, Melton Yeargan; four brothers, Billy Ray Tucker, Leon "Bud" Tucker, Roy M. Tucker, and William "Pete" Tucker. Survivors include two sons, Mr. & Mrs. Roy Yeargan of Pottsville, Michael Yeargan of Hollis; one daughter, Nanci Yeargan Dixon & husband Kenny of Russellville; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren; Graveside service will be 2:00p.m., Monday, November 23, 2009 at Pisgah Cemetery. Brother Josh Crites will officiate. Burial will follow by Humphrey Funeral Service. Visitation will be from 6:00pm to 8:00pm, Sunday at the funeral home. PDF Printable Version
