James R. Foster

James R. Foster, 79, of London, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 26, 2007. The son of Harrison and Mattie (Kendrick) Foster, he was born January 26, 1928 on Linker Mountain. His hobbies were fishing and hunting. He loved to share his successes with everyone. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepmother, Clara Jolley Foster; brother, Albert Foster; brother-in-law, Bill Hathcock; two step-brothers, C.B. Jolley, Edward Jolley and step-sister, Ruby Davis. He is survived by a brother, Earl Foster of Rogersville, Tennessee; three sisters, Verda Moore of Hot Springs, Nancy Hathcock of Hot Springs, Flora Mae Policastro of Cincinnati, Ohio; sister-in-law, Wanda Foster of Russellville; two step-sisters, Kiness Rye of Russellville, Ruth Lem of Ozark; several cousins, nephews, nieces and a host of family and friends.
Funeral service will be at 10 AM Tuesday, October 30, 2007 at Humphrey Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Schlinker officiating. Burial will be at Booher Cemetery at Russellville by Humphrey Funeral Service.
Visitation will be 5:30 - 6:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.
