James "Jim" Sanford Riggs

James S. "Jim" Riggs, 84, of Dover, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022, at Johnson County Regional Hospital in Clarksville. A son of Howard and Maudie Earl (Cooper) Riggs, he was born March 30, 1938, in Dover. Jim enjoyed fishing, reading, and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include five brothers, Billy Joe and wife Wanda; Kenneth and wife Nita; George and wife Ineva all of Dover; Roy and Wife Sue of Russellville; Ruben and wife Juanita of Dover; two sisters, Elizabeth Seward and husband Bob of Dover; Brenda Hutcheson and Husband Leland of Lead Hill and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, December 16, 2022, at Humphrey Chapel. Rev. Bob Freeman will officiate. Burial will be at Owens Cemetery in Dover by Humphrey Funeral Service.
