Janan Grace Taylor

Janan Grace Hudson Taylor, 42, of Russellville, died Saturday, December 19, 2009 at St. Mary's Regional Medical Center. The daughter of Don and Janie Bowden Hudson, she was born December 24, 1966 in Russellville. She was a 1985 graduate of Russellville High School. She and Brent Taylor were married on St. Patricks Day in 1990. Brent and Janan worked on their secondary education together at ATU, with Janan receiving her B.A. degree in commercial art in 1992. She was a long time substitute teacher and volunteer at Center Valley Elementary School. She contributed her wonderful talent in art and her time to the school, its students and teachers for many years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her parents, Don and Janie Bowden Hudson; husband, Brent Taylor, Children, Kyle Stephen Taylor and Morgan Grace Taylor, all of Russellville; a sister, Linda Davis and husband Danny, Paragould; a brother, Gary Don Hudson and wife Bessie, Russellville; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends.
Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at Hudson Cemetery at Moreland. Mr. Bruce Grice will officiate. Burial is by Humphrey Funeral Service. Pallbearers are Edward Hudson, Scott Reynolds, Scott Hudson, Jack Heflin, Dave Thompson, Roger Duvall. Honorary pallbearers are members of Janan's "therapy and Friday lunch" group, including Sandra Klemmer, Carol Harrison, Robin Thomas, Paula Luther, Leanne Wolfe, Heidi Pace, Deanna Cole, Jackie Frazee, Tammy Zachary and LeAnn Burris.
Janan's family extends their special thanks to each person who contributed blood and platelets to the American Red Cross during her illness and ask that everyone continue this life-saving gift in her memory.
