Jerry Gardner

Jerry Gardner, 68, of Knoxville, AR, died Monday, April 30, 2012 at Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville. The son of Harvey and Lillian McNabb Gardner, he was born March 22, 1944 in Augusta, AR. He married Lanora Aileen Gardner, on December 2, 1963 at Russellville, AR. He was a United States Navy Veteran of Korea. He was a truck driver and enjoyed fishing and sports. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Urita Mae Pankey; and brother, Dorwin Gardner.

Survivor include his wife Lanora Gardner of Knoxville; two children, Steven Gardner of Clarksville, Apryl Pledger and husband Brian of Clarksville; three grandchildren, Robert Gardner, Dayven and Noah Pledger, all of Clarksville; several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and extended family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Humphrey Funeral Service in Russellville. Dan Baker will officiate. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Service.
